        Record: Halter Points,36. Race Winnings $95.00  Doc 
        Bar was bred for speed, but as a racer he wasn't any good. However, he 
        left his mark on the cow horse portion of the industry. Mostly in siring 
        champion cutters. When he was crossed with Poco Tivio line mares the results 
        were astounding. Including:  
       Fizzabar. 
        1961 mare, out of Teresa Tivio. Became NCHA Hall of Fame. NCHA World Champion 
        Mare, 1960.

          In 1969, 4 of his 
        offspring would enter the NCHA Futurity, 3 would place 2nd through 4th. Docs 
            Marmoset, Winner of the 1973 NCHA Futurity. Docs Solano, 
            the youngest horse ever to win an AQHA Championship. 
          For almost 20 years 
        Doc Bars get and grand-get would dominate the NCHA. Docs Kitty Doc Luck Bar Docs Leo Lad 
           1970 - Doc 
            O'Lena, out of Poco Lena, a prominate cutting mare, by Poco 
            Bueno, would win all four go-rounds at the NCHA Futurity. 1971- Dry Doc, 
            full brother to Doc O'Lena, would also win the Futurity.

            1975 - Docs Yuba Lea  Grand-get: 
          
        
          1982 - Smart Little 
        Lena, by Doc O'Lena, won the NCHA 'triple crown.' The NCHA Futurity. The 
        NCHA Derby. The NCHA Super Stakes. From him came two get that were to 
        win the Futurity in 1987 and 1988. Making them the only whose sires and 
        grand sires were Futurity winners 1975 - Lenaette, 
            Daughter of Doc O'Lena would take the title. 1978 - Lynx 
            Melody 1979 - Docs 
            Diablo.  
        
          Doc Bars ability to 
        pass on his talent was apparent in the 1983 NCHA Futurity. 21 out of the 
        23 finalists all carried Doc Bar blood. Smart Date Smart Little 
            Senor NOTE:
