Halter and Performance
Record: None
Driftwood started
off life as a Racing QH. Outrunning Clabber in 1940-41 Though no a true
speed horse, Driftwood became a working ranch horse after he was removed
from the track, leaving his mark on the QH industry through his get.
Though Driftwoods
get weren´t burning up the tracks, they were known for their sense of
"cow". Most of them earning their living as working cow horses, ropers,
prized by rodeo and working cattlemen.
Many of his get were
not registered with the AQHA, therefore his true performance as a sire
will never be known.
