Peppy 1934 - 1964

Foaled in 1934 on the famous King Ranch. A line bred Old Sorrel, Peppy stood about 15 hands and weighed about 1100 lbs.

Since this was the time before AQHA became organized, Peppy has no AQHA Performance Records though he had plenty of wins in the large stock shows, almost always taking the Grand Championship. The one he didn't go to was the 1940 Stock Show in Fort Worth TX. The King Ranch sent Wimpy instead, where Wimpy would win the coveted P-1 title that the fledgling AQHA was giving to the grand champion of the show.
